Proof that 1 = 2
Here is a “proof” that 1 = 2. However, we all know that is not true! Can you spot the error here?
The Answer!
The error lies when you divide each side by (1-1).
The reason?
(1-1) = 0
This means that we're dividing both sides by 0, and we can't divide something by 0! Dividing a number by 0 is undefined and will give you all sorts of strange answers.
